it's a helmet, put it on your head in case you crash. I just crashed with it on. Went down on some single track and flew about 10 feet, landing on the front side of my head. Helmet did it's duty, cracked and distributed the blow to the helmet instead of my head. Bruised and scraped up all over, but my head is dandy.
I'm buying another tomorrow.
