BUY THIS FOR MI OLD MARIN CR-MO FRAME IN A ODD 26.4 DIAMETER SUPER STRONG AND ALSO LIGHT. THE GROVES ON THE SEAT CLAMP ARE DEEP AND STRONG BUT LIMIT A BIT THE ANGLE ADJUSTMENT.

I needed a cheap seatpost for an old roadbike I got for free. I just needed an obscure size with at least 350mm long post. Post was cheap, doesnt creak and holds position. Recommend!

Was looking for a nice aluminum seatpost to complete a project. The silver finish is sharp, has some nice white/red accents as well that matched perfectly with my frameset. I have had no problems with it slipping like some another review mentioned, I have it torqued to 5nm. The 1-bolt design is simple and easy to adjust, the seatpost has what I will call "micro adjust" notches where the clamp secures to, allowing for adjustment of the saddle angle. Overall, just what I was looking for. I plan on buying another for my commuter.

Used for updating an older rigid mtb that has a smaller down tube, which is hard to locate the right size for. Its a little hard to secure in the down tube due to the slippery anodized finish - if it had some grip ridges that kept it from sliding too much while adjusting it would be five star product.

Wanted to keep costs to a minimum on this project. Old seatpost had no way to attach a modern saddle with rails. It was lowering the tone. So, I spent as little as possible to get an unusual 25.8mm replacement post. Glad I did. This is solid, good looking and exactly what the doctor ordered. Much better than I expected. Highly recommended. In case you're wondering if I'm just a noob saying it's good cos I don't know what I'm talking about, my other bike's a customised MTB, so don't worry, I do know the difference between cheap and expensive components. The value on this post can't be beat imo. If you need a post and you're on a budget, you will not be disappointed with this.
