The Honey Badger just don't care! The Kenda Honey Badger Sport features a unique Tri-Bite knob shape, where the leading edge of the knob cuts into the ground for reduced rolling resistance, and the cup shaped rear provide tremendous grip and optimal braking abilities in vast array of conditions. The Honey Badger Sport is a select choice tire for hard packed dry terrain, rocky terrain, and light mud.
Put a set on the hardtail because the price was right and liked the folding bead version well enough. Do they handle the same as the folding? Yes and no. The traction is the same but the extra weight is noticeable. Hooked up fine on technical climbs but the difference in acceleration make some features tougher to clean. Tread wear is good, well over 400 miles and hanging in the garage only because I could afford something lighter. Someday I'll use them up. Rear only, I think. Need more grip up front.
