These tires have a tread pattern of alternating-height diamond knobs that take a REALLY long time to scrub in, and even with 1000 miles or more on mine, they still slip when i reach new sections in a turn. They REFUSE to climb curbs at less than an 80º approach and you may find yourself dragging your rear tire along! They roll extraordinarily well for any type of riding, no doubt due to the sky-high pressure to which you can inflate them. They have lasted a REALLY long time for me, too. As long as you know the tire's limitations, it really is a decent one and 99% of people will likely never have any cause for complaint.
Although not my favorite tire, your options for a tire of this type are pretty limited, and for the price, one really can not complain about these.
i would not hesitate to buy these again.

Bought these for my wife's bike, which mostly sees pavement and light dirt. Jenson price match was perfect as usual. Really impressed with the tires. Not a lot of options out there for 2.3 size with this kind of tread. Tires handle better than expected. Tread depth could stand to be a little deeper, but for the intended purposes, the tires are perfect.
