This tire is exactly what I need for performance on the uneven roadways I seem to encounter. Not so heavy and slow as a knobby but less prone to flatting than a road/racing tire. A good all around solution for my needs.

Have used these for a few years. Wire bead is harder to install than folding tires, needed to use (2) tire levers, but like the higher pressure than most other commuter tires.

I NOTICED I'VE BEEN MORE ON THE ROAD THAN CROSS COUNTRY. SO I DICIDED TO TO GO SMOOTHER AND FASTER. THEY HOLD A LOT OF PREASURE AND THEY ARE "LITE" 400gms. YOU CAN COMPARE THEM WITH THE Ritchey Tom Slick TIRES. THEIR KEVLAR ONES GO FOR 250gms THE WIRED BED ONES GO FOR 400gms. FOR ME ANY TIRE THAT GOES BELOW 500gms IT'S GREAT. BEALEVE IT OR NOT TIRES ADD A LOT OF WEIGHT TO YOUR BIKE. GOD BLESS AND GOOD RIDING...
