The Nevegal’s ramped front knobs increase speed while retaining grip for climbs. The Dual Tread Compound (DTC) is the ultimate tread compound. The only other tires I've used were the stock Bontragers so I'm no tire expert. With that said, these tires have improved my riding and confidence considerably due to the way they grip the trail. The trails I ride are mostly dusty hard pack with lots and lots of roots with the occasional rocky section. I run them on the front and rear.

I'm very pleased with this tire! It seems to work really well in all conditions. The ramps on the center knobs help the rolling resistance and the side knobs are aggressive for hard cornering. I'm running it tubeless and I've gone a couple of weeks without having to add air.
