I like to be aggressive in the mountains, I like to be sure cornering and go down pretty fast, these tires give the necessary confidence. I do not mind losing a bit of speed up the hill, I need to be sure and be aggressive and fast down the hill, which is the most fun. I recommend this tire for people that want to come down and give curves aggressively without fear and feel you are on a motorcycle.

I don't care much for all of the skinny small knobby 29er tires. Too many snake bite flats, and not enough flat protection from sharp rocks and other trail hazards. These Kendas have great tread patterns, are roll well in mud, the hard pack. Wieght-weenies have complained about the wieght, but I don't notice, or care. These tires rock!

These are great tires if you ride in loose terrain or in a lot of rocks. They have a bit of rolling resistance and are a little on the heavy side, but I have never had a flat with these either.

Use mainly on flowing rooty singletrack with occasional rock gardens and these tires have been great. I replaced a set of WTB Nanos with these and although they night have a bit more rolling resistance the trade-off of having much better grip and traction is one I'll take everytime.
They could be a bit lighter, but for the price these are an excellent value!

When time came to rubberize my 29er, I went for the Nevegals. I am a long time Nevegal fan, had these tires on all my bikes. Why? These tires gave me confidence,they deliver as promised and are a great value, They hold the line at speed, they are comfortable even when bloated to 40psi. They are also great on the steep climbs. As for weight and rolling resistance, I don't have a problem at all. I only would have like For Kenda to have made 2.35 or 2.4 29" version.

Great trail bike tire. Run them front and rear for muddy conditions. Great tire for what they are intended...not a cross country race tire.
