KS has been 'Kind' to me. The last 3 adjustable seat posts were KS (sold due to change in frame and tube dia) and I had great success with all of them. I know hydraulic adj seat posts are not the most reliable component out there but I figured I must be lucky and/or maintained them very well.
I follow strict procedures with my KS (like my sus fork).. when washing, to make sure not to spray water directly at the shock, clean and lube the post regularly and usually once a week, cycle the post (drop down, stop and back up, stop 10x). I figured these techniques and maintenance helps prolong the life of the post. Hope others enjoys theirs as much as mine.

I`ve used this, and my intention was to use this for trail riding on my full sus bike. Good looks and also very good operation of the seatpost when it works gives it two stars. After only about only ten short rides it turned into a pogostick and is now useless. I hope Jenson usa can arrange a way to have it fixed or replaced in Norway as shipping cost probably will exceed the value of the product. Overall pleased with the service from Jenson soo far. Will give a new post if I get it fixed.

My wife has used this post on 80+ rides (about 2hrs each). No Problems. NONE! Hers has the remote, works beautifully. She could only lower her original post 3' (not enough for the descents around here). Gets 5' in the same space, sweet! Works as well for going up as down (she drops it a skootch for tech moves on climbs, this took her from like to LOVE) Really HOW good is it? 5 others in our group have got one since (one guy even switched brands to the KS post). Another is running the 27.2 model with about 50+ rides. My wife initially doubted but now INSISTS her next bike have the same seatpost. I am waiting for mine eagerly.
