Prices shown in currencies other than USA Dollars are estimates based on current exchange rates. We will charge your credit card in USA Dollars on the day your order is shipped, and the conversion to your local currency will be done at the prevailing rate by your credit card issuer.
Shipments outside the USA are declared as “bike parts” for customs purposes and will include the actual amount paid for merchandise and shipping. Jenson USA will not mark your parcel as a “gift”, declare a value lower than the actual price paid, or otherwise prepare false customs information.
The Kona Supreme Operator is comprised of a Kona DH Carbon main triangle, and 6061 aluminum stays making it a stronger and lighter machine, which only means more braaaaaap. Having an integrated headset reduces stack height, so the height of the stem and bars are more adjustable, giving the rider the best fit possible, while the tapered head-tube offers a better distribution of shock forces, a prolonged bearing life, improved balance and better steering position.
Sticking to the suspension design that helped Graham Agassiz land his 70-foot step-down at the 2014 Red Bull Rampage and Tegan Malloy’s win the World Championship, Kona’s evolutionary 4-bar linkage Beamer Independent Suspension is more progressive off the top, helping the bike stay higher in the travel and recover evenly from the biggest of hits. Muscling the back end, the beefy 12x157 rear axle provides the rear hub and frame with a stiff interface and allows the wheel to be quickly and properly positioned in the frame before the rear axle is inserted. This is what a modern race ready DH bike looks like, and we definitely like what we see here.
The Kona Supreme Operator will arrive on your door step equipped with a handpicked group of components from the experts here at Jenson USA. A Shimano Zee 1x10 drivetrain is paired with a set of SRAM Guide hydraulic brakes. A set of DT Swiss EX500 wheels roll on 2.35 wide Schwalbe Magic Mary rubber. The cockpit duties are handle by our good friends at Race Face with an Aeffect 20mm rise bar, 50mm Chester stem, and the Ride seat post is topped with a SDG Falcon saddle. Suspension duties are handled with the FOX 40 Performance 203mm travel fork up front and the RockShox Vivid Coil R2C in the rear.
