Kore wanted a technically advanced stem that was strong enough for your gravity oriented bike, but light enough to ride all-mountain. With the Kore Repute Stem they started out with aerospace grade aluminum and CNC machined the stem until they were satisfied that they produced a stem that would be ready for the most extreme rides. The Kore Repute stem is one seriously sweet MTN bike stem! If you're looking for a solid, strong, well designed stem, but don't want to break the bank, pick one of these bad boys up. Oh and yea, the stem as with most all other stems, does not come with installation instructions, and quite frankly, if you need instructions on how to put a stem on your bike, chances are you shouldn't be working on one in the first place. Leave it to the pros.

If you want a short, strong, light and good looking stem to affix your bars to your rig, this is probably the best bang for the buck from a name brand component manufacturer. I thought I wanted my stem as short as possible so I got the 35mm, it's short! I'm probably gonna buy the 50mm and return the 35mm - my bad!
