Shipments outside the USA are declared as “bike parts” for customs purposes and will include the actual amount paid for merchandise and shipping. Jenson USA will not mark your parcel as a “gift”, declare a value lower than the actual price paid, or otherwise prepare false customs information.
Lazer Helmets offers a break from the crowd with their Lazer Tardiz Aero Helmet. The Lazer Tardis takes protection as serious as it takes aerodynamics. The In-Mold system keeps the shell strong to protect your head. The exclusive Rollsys® Retention System features a unique adjustment roller on the top of the helmet that tightens the entire inside of the helmet progressively so as not to pinch any areas too tightly. The dual layer aerodynamics has two different surfaces that treat the air different. The top layer of the helmet is smooth and the lower area is dimpled for head down aerodynamics when the tail of the helmet may be in the wind a bit more.
The enemy of aerodynamics is the wind and many aero helmets have minimal venting to keep the air flow smooth around the helmet. The Lazer Tardiz shares the minimal venting philosophy with three large vents in the front and three in the rear. To try to keep your head cooler when the temperature heats up, Lazer added a clever aqua port at the top of the helmet. Pull the rubber plug back and pour water in and cool your head off. Distribution channels distribute the water throughout your head so that water doesn’t just go streaming to your eyes. For your transitions, the Lazer Tardiz features a magnetic buckle that makes securing your helmet effortless.
The proof of every aerodynamic helmet is in the performance. In 2011, Julie Dibbens bested the previous bike time course record at Kona by over 4 minutes! Pete Jacobs bested his bike best by over 14 minutes en route to a 2nd place overall. Ironman Kona is a hot and windy race and the Lazer Tardiz excelled in that tough race!
