Prices shown in currencies other than USA Dollars are estimates based on current exchange rates. We will charge your credit card in USA Dollars on the day your order is shipped, and the conversion to your local currency will be done at the prevailing rate by your credit card issuer.
Shipments outside the USA are declared as “bike parts” for customs purposes and will include the actual amount paid for merchandise and shipping. Jenson USA will not mark your parcel as a “gift”, declare a value lower than the actual price paid, or otherwise prepare false customs information.
Many of us here at Jenson USA are self-proclaimed suspension geeks who gush over the distinctions in adjustable negative air springs and compression speeds. Then there are those of us who could care less about all the technology terms and simply just want to know how good the fork feels on the trail. Now we can sit here and try to tell you that the MRP Stage feels amazing and this and that, but chances are it would be a far reach from justifying how the fork really rides. Therefore, we are left with nerding-out over what the new MRP Stage has to offer.
Already a benchmark in all-mountain and enduro performance, the 2016 Stage further elevates the bar. Internally, they’ve enhanced the rebound design to reduce operational noise by 26%, while maintaining the high-volume, high-flow circuitry that gives the Stage fade-free performance, precise damping control, and one of the longest service intervals in the industry. When it comes to improvements in compression, the adjustment increments have been reworked to deliver both simpler and stronger tunability.
Featuring 140mm - 170mm travel options, the 26”/27.5” MRP Stage takes herculean descents and rowdy terrain, and dowses it in agility and confidence-inspiring suspension. The robust 34mm stanchions, the QTAPER 15mm axle, and chiseled cast magnesium lower with an oversized arch, keep the Stage willing and able in any situation.
With more external tuning than similar forks on the market, the Stage includes an eight positions compression adjustment, as well as the revolutionary Ramp Control feature that allows the user to adjust the desired ending stroke spring curve on the fly. Dialing “in” the Ramp Control retains the Stage's supple small bump compliance, while allowing a progressive, big-hit feel. Dialing it “out” provides a linear stroke, independent of sag and ride-height. The state-of-the-art compression circuit features a magnetic blow-off valve that abolishes the possibility of spiking, thereby reducing rider fatigue and enhancing control.
