The Avid X0 brakes are the meanest and leanest hydraulic disc brakes around. Weighing in at just 310 grams, the X0 won’t weigh you down as you’re hitting some gnarly singletrack. The unique shape of the lever combined with the newly designed cylinder and bleed port give you everything you love about Avid X0 brakes while addressing an issue some riders were experiencing when going to bleed their brakes. This updated GS model addresses cockpit compatibility for riders using grip shifters by changing the lever body to allow for tooled (2.5mm hex) reach adjustment. The new TaperBore technology allows for more air to be cleared from the bleed port while bleeding the brakes and keeps any air bubbles left behind out of the hose ultimately resulting in a more powerful braking system.
