Manitou Mattoc Pro Fork 27.5" 160mm

The Mattoc is Manitou's new born-n-bred all-mountain fork. Manitou named the Mattoc as nod to all the trail builders who make this beautiful sport possible. The Mattoc is a 34 mm stanchion fork with 160mm of travel. As the Pro model, it features the lightest weight chassis with taper wall legs and Manitou's patented hollow bore crown. Additionally, the Mattoc Pro saves even more weight through its lightweight cartridge damper.

Employing Manitou's Multi Control Compression damper, the Mattoc offers high and low speed compression dampers and an external hydraulic bottom out adjuster. The on-the-fly low speed adjuster allows the rider to dial just right chassis control for excellent handling and quickly adjust for optimal efficiency without compromising small bump compliance. The high speed adjuster allows the rider to fine tune sensitivity over rougher terrain, allowing the fork to float through chatter without losing travel. Pedaling platform is further improved by increasing the high speed adjustment.

Borrowing technology from the Dorado is the HBO (Hydraulic Bottom Out). The externally adjustable HBO allows the rider to dial-in the right end stroke resistance for larger drops. Another key feature borrowed from the Dorado is the Dual Chamber Dorado Air Spring which moderately progressive rate air spring that allows the fork to be most sensitive through high speed bumps without sacrificing stroke control.
