Marzocchi 350 CR 27.5" Fork

Marzocchi 350 CR 27.5" Fork

Marzocchi has been innovating suspension technology on mountain bikes and motorcycles for the past 60 years. By translating what they’ve learned in the moto-world to their line of suspension bicycle forks they’ve been able to produce stiffer, smoother, and more reliable suspension technology.

Specially designed for the die-hard enduro crowd, the 350 series is the new masterpiece inspired by the legendary Marzocchi Z1 and the high-performing Marzocchi 55 that is poised to become the new reference point for hardcore enduro suspension forks.

Aside from the standard 15mm thru-axle and tapered steer tube, the Marzocchi 350 CR fork features a low pressure AER system, 35mm Natural Anodized aluminum stanchions and includes the CR damping cartridge for adjusting your compression and rebound rates on the fly. The stanchions feature a low-friction Natural Anodizing coating that’s been infused with Teflon to increase small bump sensitivity and the overall durability of the stanchion surfaces, seals and bushings.

Thanks to the newly designed Dynamic Bleed Cartridge, the 350 CR is the ideal combination of open bath and seal cartridge systems - creating a fork that is smooth, reliable, and low maintenance while remaining competitively lightweight. By tuning the knobs on the fork you’re able to adjust the low speed compression and rebound and to further tune, by upgrading to a custom shim stack (sold separately), you’re able to adjust the high speed rebound allowing the compression can be fully locked out. To safeguard your investment, an internal blow-off valve protects your fork from unexpected impact in case you forget to unlock the fork before taking a big hit.

Plush, Durable, Easy to Dial
I put this fork on my 26" Giant reign in place of the Fox CTD Talas it came stock with. The 27.5" fork gave me a slightly slacker Head angle (about 1.5 degrees), but this was a benefit for me. There was a night and day difference in fluidity of the stroke with the 350 CR.It has excellent small bump compliance, and is easily dialed in with the simple, yet incredibly effective, Low speed comp. adjust. It lacks a High speed for both rebound and compression, but the factory settings are phenomenal, and never do I bottom out harshly (Even in DH races). Its sleek, It performs exceptionally, it rarely needs service, and it costs much less than competitors of similar performance.

PROS: Simple, Attractive Design, Lightweight, Easy To Install, Durable, Plush, Smooth

CONS: No Easy To Adjust Hs Comp

BEST USES: Downhill, Racing, Super D, Enduro, Mountain Biking

Bomber Fork for little Bucks!
I ride this fork on a NS Soda 26"!
This fork fits nicely with 26" wheels and balances the bike for a good trail and FR weapon. The trials I ride have lots of natural and man made jumps, drops and technical sections. This fork rides high in the travel then ramps up nicely for bigger hits. Im big about 215lbs and the air spring is super easy to set up with no problems or harsh topping out like on older forks.
Its still new and only has 4 rides on it but I knew right away its a winner!
RideOn!

PROS: Lightweight, Plush, Durable, Attractive Design, Handles Heavy Riders, Takes Big Drops Easily, Rides And Tracks Well, Its Light

CONS: I Wanted 170mm, Its Only 160mm

BEST USES: Jumping, Freeriding, Trail And Dh Use, Mountain Biking, Casual Riding, Racing

Great fork
Great fork, Decided to give it a try for the price as I always had good luck with older Marzocchi product (bomber) This fork is better than my 34 fox Evolutions on the same bike.

Works ok for downhill
No small bump sensitivity, a lot of stiction but when you push them a bit more aggressively they actually felt really nice. Not bad at that price point.
