This wheel set is a huge improvment over the stock wheels that came with my Diamondback Podium Sport.They are fast rolling, true out the box, very attractive design and they come with tires tubes and rim tape. Now I understand they are not the lightest out there but the durability factor was big for me.I noticed an instant change in my gearing choices and average speed was up by a couple miles per hour. JensonUSA once again matched the cheapest price I could find and for that my hats off again to the good folks there!!

While not the lightest wheelset out there, the Aksiums are comparable to many other (much) higher end wheels I've owned in terms of durability.
They arrived evenly tensioned and the bearings were perfect. After a season of cyclocross racing, they're still as true as the day I got them.
They're used on my training bike now, but have had absolutely zero issues in over three seasons of hard riding.
This is a testament to the Mavic build quality. Just because these don't have the Ksyrium name, doesn't mean they don't share the same great performance.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
