I won a pair of these during a race and I gave them a try. Put them on my time trial bike for triathlon and absolutely loved them. Everything you want in a pedal. Really light wieght and at a reasonable price. I've never accidentally clipped out and I've had several really good bike splits. Only con is having the plastic wear under cleat.

The Mavic Sprint pedal shares the same design as some of the higher end models. I imagine the only real diffferences are materials and bearing setup. My set have been error free. Only 4 start as the cleat wear at 1500 miles has created noticalble wiggle room in the connection. Regardless, I have never accidently popped out.
