The Maxxis Advantage is an aggressive high volume tire designed for aggressive cross country riding. The big side knobs take corners quickly. It also climbs and brakes without hesitation, thanks to the opposing parallelogram center tread design. The ramped center knobs keep you rolling fast, due to the very minimal rolling resistance. The wide lug spacing sheds mud easily to keep your tires clean, to maintain traction.
This version of the Maxxis Advantage features a 120 TPI casing with eXCeption rubber. The eXCeption Series of tires is a combination of Maxxis' 62a compound and 120 TPI casing. THis not only makes for a lighter tire model, but also enhances cornering, braking, and acceleration.

I needed a front tire that was faster rolling than my stock WTB Velociraptor so I decided on the Maxxis Advantage. This tire rolls so much better and has good traction on turns on loose over hard pack and hard pack. It handles the increased speed with no problems.
