Comments about Maxxis Ardent 29 Exo Tubeless Ready Tire:

Easiest tubeless install in the market, just a hand pump will do the job. Running the 2.4 on my front 29er. Great traction and cornering on all kinds of surfaces. Great for all mountain and aggressive trails. Might be too heavy for xc use.

Bit tough to get on 29'r rim but overall great tire...nice grip. 2.4s are fantastic in snow as well as dry packed trail. Def. Recommend this or even tubeless ready version ( non exo)

Great front tire. Grips really well in all conditions dry or wet. Increased my confidence in turns and virtually eliminated wash outs. The 2.4 size is great and looks really cool. Quick shipping, great customer service, Jenson USA is the way to purchase tires.

Comments about Maxxis Ardent 29 Exo Tubeless Ready Tire:

These were the default tires that came on my Kona Taro however there was the 2.25" wide one on the rear. After converting to tubeless and having numerous blowouts in the rear I decided it was time to try something new back there. Having good success up front with the 2.4 I decided to give it a try in the back. After removing the 2.25 rear I noticed how floppy it's side wall was compared to the 2.4 and I knew it was going to perform much better tubeless.

On the trail the bike feels like a beast and is a lot more stable and confidence inspiring. I'm back to sending over the stumps and jumps again.

Comments about Maxxis Ardent 29 Exo Tubeless Ready Tire:

I put this on the front of my steel rigid. The overwhelmingly positive reviews from forum users led me to this choice. It is as described aggressive, great traction, and heavy. The only two real downsides to this tire is the bead is very loose causing tubeless installs to be iffy and the fact that you really need a rim with a wider than average width to take advantage of the tread pattern and high volume tire.

Bought these for my Diamondback Mason Ht and love them. I wish they were tubeless specific but I still run these tubeless. I liked them so much I bought another set for a new bike I bought.

Comments about Maxxis Ardent 29 Exo Tubeless Ready Tire:

Simply put, this was a no brainer for me. I ride singletrack in vermont and found my stock bontrager tires left me washing out in the corners and hiking the rocky uphills. Did my research and chose the ardents. Couldn't be happier! They grip everything, roll great on trails, and are crazy rugged. The price is on the higher side but worth it. These won't disappoint.

Comments about Maxxis Ardent 29 Exo Tubeless Ready Tire:

I run this on my singlespeed rigid as a front tire and it works great! Super fast and corners like a dream. Holds air perfectly on Stan's 355 rims with Slime Pro sealant. I have smacked the rim on sharp rocks if I run the pressure too low, but it's rare and that can happen with any tire.
