nice side walls not to thin or to thick set up on easton havens tubeless with slime pro. the aired rite up the first time Rolls very well for the type of tire it is the tire it replaced was a specy. captain an for the very little bit of drag added the grip more then makes up for it. I got the 2.4 after setting the tire to 22psi it came up at 59mm so just short of a 2.35. ican see it being a true 2.4 after some miles get on it im very happy with this tire as a front. an spoke with some ppl that use it as a rear. an they say as a rear it works just as good

    Solid performer!!!!
I've long been a huge Nevegal fan, but when I had my Intense 6.6, I hook it up with the Ardent's, I decided I'd give them a few weeks to see if I liked them. Very glad I did too, as this tire has completely changed my view on what I mtn bike tire should be. Right away you can tell it's a much faster tire than the Nevegal, and so far it's exceeded the Nev in cornering too. Tight turns I usually drift around I was now railing like never before. These tires grip the dry and loose trails like nothing I've ridden before. Haven't had a chance to put them to the test on wet roots yet, but given how impressive they've been so far I'd be very surprised if they didn't excel there as well.

    Well done Maxxis!

PROS: Thread Life, Fast Rolling, Grippy, Cornering, Nice looks

    CONS: none

Fast roll speed in a high traction trail tire
From order point Jenson USA took 3 days until the day they shipped. My tracking number said "in transit to processing facility" for quite a while. From order point until the time it was recieved on my end was appx 2 weeks to Canada. Not bad - but give yourself more time than you expect.

The price on screen was the price to my door. No duty / taxes/ brokerage / import fees. Thanks guys!

Customer service on the phone was impeccable. The help team was excellent. I will order from Jenson usa again.

    Holds Tight
During my all mountain rides; grips well on the downhill going around curves. You may notice a slight increase in resistance on the climbs but all worth the compromise. I'm running this tire (Maxxis Ardent in the rear) and (Maxxis Hi-Roller in the front)- this combination works well for me in all riding conditions in Southern Californa.

    PROS: Durable

    Great Rear
This is a great rear tire for me. I use a Highroller II on the front after trying this tire on the front. Didn't have as much luck on the front as I did the rear.
!!If you buy the EXO, drop the air pressure WAY down. I have noticed a huge difference when I drop air pressure. I am NOT light, over 2 bills, and I'm running mid 20's psi on this tire with EXO!!

PROS: Great Rear, Great Traction, Exo Is Tough, Easy To Install, Durable

CONS: Rolling Resistance, Not So Great Front, Exo Is Stiff

    Best tire yet
Though I hate to echo everyone else, it is a great tire, and one i will now on use mainly as a rear tire in the loose/hard/chunky conditions of the CO front range. Slips much less than other tires i have used in the back and rolls well despite its traction. On both my 29 and 26 bikes

PROS: High Volume, Holds A Line, Durable

    CONS: Expensive

    BEST USES: Upgrade, Mountain Biking

    Maxxis Ardent Folding Time
I purchased two Maxxis Ardent (LUST edition) tires in July 2016 for a new bike build. I am a regular mtb'er nothing crazy for rocks or jumped, all my riding is primarily XC. After approx. 300 miles, the rear tire failed with a rubber to bead/cord serperation. Luckily I carry a tube, as I was 3 miles from the finish of a local race. I chalked it up to just an odd circumstance. I re-purchased (2) new Maxxis Ardent (EXO-TR) for replacements. I have had great luck with Maxxis on all my bikes over the last 4 years.
