Maxxis DTH 26" Tire

Maxxis DTH 26” Tire

Featuring the same DTH tread as its popular 20” older brother, the new 26” size delivers the kind of versatility needed for both catching air and riding mixed terrain. The groove-slick low tread pattern provides a predictable ride that reduces rolling resistance to carry speed on the pavement, yet it grips enough on hard pack tracks, and hooks enough for some tire tapping. Whether you’re dirt jumping, wood jumping, or grocery getting, the Maxxis DTH 26” is lightweight, durable, and willing to go wherever you need it to!

  • Ideal for: Dirt, flat, park, street
  • Grooved-slick urban option
  • Lightweight single-ply casing
  • Size options: 26 x 2.15
  • Bead: Foldable
  • Weight: 26x2.15 – 550g
  • Compound: Single-Ply
  • Max PSI: 80
  • 60 TPI

Cruiser/Klumker
Mounted on my classic 26" 1981 Cook Bros 3 bar cruiser/klunker. 2.3 up front w/ 2.15 rear set up. Tires roll fast and corner great on pavement w/ high psi. Lower the psi a bit and received the same performance on gravel and hard pack. Very versatile, light weight 26" tire.

Awesome tire, I run front and rear and it hooks up better than you expect on loose dry dirt and it's super grippy and forgiving at skateparks.

Great Tire
Fantastic tire for DJ/Street/Park. Roll super fast and are very light. Feel great on my 26 inch dj. I put them on and it made it feel like I got a whole new bike. The only con is that they arent super grippy on dirt but I have not had a problem with them yet on dirt.

PROS: Lightweight, Low Rolling Resistence, Attractive Design, Look Good, Durable, Easy To Install

CONS: Not A Ton Of Grip On Dirt

BEST USES: Street, BMX, Dirt Jumping, Park, Mountain Biking, Racing

MTB conversion
Love this tire for converting my rigid mountain bike to a paved bike trail shredder! I went with the wider, 2.3" and am very happy.

The Gripper
I use these as a tubeless rear tire with Stan's. They're very light, and very grippy. Almost too grippy on the street. They gripped better on the trail than expected, and when they do slide, they drift predictably. They seem to wear a bit fast, but are fairly tough considering the low weight. This is my new go to tire for the jump bike.
