Maxxis High Roller II 3C Exo 29" Tire
Revamp your 29" Trail machine to the open and aggressive tread design of the High Roller II. With excellent soil penetration and mud clearing talent, the square profile provides a solid, consistent feel across the knobs. Modified knobs on the shoulder and center progress braking performance and traction on hard surfaces. Employing Maxxis's Exo Protection, the High Roller II is cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant on the sidewalls, while remaining lightweight and flexible. The 3C Maxx Terra(triple compound) offers a comfortable combination of traction, low rolling resistance and longevity. This is a big, high-air-volume casing, yet still fairly light, thanks to the foldable bead, ideal for cross country adventures on long-travel 5 and 6" trail bikes. When the trail gets technical, rely on the High Roller II to keep you upright.

The High Rollers have totally changed that feel. Because of the aggressive tread pattern they are obviously not as efficient, but on the downhills now I feel like I'm riding on velcro. Lean the bike over, stand on the outside peddle and they grab any surface under them. I couldn't be happier
Tire provided improved cornering traction over the Maxxis Ardent the bike came with. Didn't notice the the increased weight while riding. Combo of Highroller 2 front and Ardent rear is working great on my area trails, which are mostly sandy loose soil of the Eastern Sierra Mountains.

4 rides and my riding budy said I needed a new tire. I have in 29 er and my bro in 27.5. It wore out soooooo fast. And I only do 10 mile rides on trails. It also punctures very easily. I used as rear tire.
I'm going for Hans Damp schwalbe for rear. I have one on front and it's great. I've tried many many tires. I have an specialized enduro expert 2014 with upgrades. Trust me. These tires are horrible. They used to be good over a year ago. Maybe they have had some changes in their factory.
