Decent light-weight all around XC tire with low rolling resistance. Replaced a set of Panracer Rampages and immediately noticed improved acceleration and agility. Also dropped significant weight from the bike. However, traction is clearly not up to Rampage standards, especially on loose over hard, where Ikons are a little sketchy. Not well suited to mud either. For most conditions though, I am very happy.

I like these tires because of the higher volume and the predicitability of cornering. You can feel these tires start to slide and it gives you time to correct. Skidding is also fun and easy on these. They roll great and fast. I would mention that they are low tread, so you need to pay attention to where your weight is over the bike on loose, dusty conditions over hardpack, steep climbs, and roots. But you should for any tire anyway. Overall a good tire, I'd recommend it.

Good fast tire with alot of grip. I was disappointed with the true weight versus the advertised weight. Very misleading. The tire performs great otherwise.
