Comments about Maxxis Larsen TT 2.35" Tire:
I use these on my dj that i ride everyday to school then shred the mountain after. They roll good on asphalt and aren't too knobby. In dirt the tread is just enough, Havent been able to try in the mud yet.

Comments about Maxxis Larsen TT 2.35" Tire:
This is a great tire for the hardpack conditions in Colorado. Ideally I would like a tire with some sidewall protection against pointy rocks, but I've had no problems so far.

Comments about Maxxis Larsen TT 2.35" Tire:
used these tires along side my Geax AKA tires and my maxxis holly rollers. Would probably pick the GEax aka tires over thees because of price and they are beteer for cornering but theses would deff. be my second choice for ss tires!

Comments about Maxxis Larsen TT 2.35" Tire:
Use mostly on hard/medium pack, dry trails. I believe in doing much research on tread for your trail type and riding style. That said, these tires performed well for my home turf. Great wear life. I'd like to see a bit more aggressive outside bead for looser corners. Will definitely pack up with mud, but not really designed for it. Tight center bead rolls nice and fast on harder pack. Thinner side walls not an issue- took plenty of sharp rocks and roots, never a puncture through the side.

Comments about Maxxis Larsen TT 2.35" Tire:
I bought this tire for the rear of my Rockhopper mainly for singletrack riding. I live in south Texas so it is mostly flat and there are a lot of exposed roots, and the tire works great, lots of grip. I have to ride 7 miles to the trail on paved roads and walking paths and 7 miles back. The tire does great there too and rolls very smooth. This is one of the most noticeable upgrades I have made to my bike.

Comments about Maxxis Larsen TT 2.35" Tire:
I'm a 175lbs XC rider and I ride in an area that's been mostly wet the last year, to the point where I've had to look for tires that offer good traction in mud, snow and cornering. I would'nt say this is a good mud tire but I was surprized how well it does grip in the mud, well, it's new too. Might not perform as well once it shows signs of wear. I've been riding in the snow without any problems either. It is fast and sings like the quire on the hardball. No problems with flats, at least I haven't gotten one yet. I would like it if they made this tire with slightly higher side knobs.
