Biggest tire I've ever seen
These tires are huge. I'm replacing a set of Vee Rubber Bulldozers, and the Minion FBRs are a significant step up. I don't know what you're planning on doing with your fatbike, but I feel well-equipped to handle Squamish trails in the winter on these.

Roygh, aggressive and seat firmly
These tires (front and rear versions) replaced my crappy factory-provided V-Rubber Snowshoes, which saw their sidewalls deteriorate after just two winters of snow riding. It's early to tell how these will fare, but they look tougher and seated firmly on the rims, unlike the Snowshoes.

Big fatty fat fat
Tire works great for different snow conditions. Rolls and stears with little resistance.

PROS: Attractive Design, Easy To Install, Durable

CONS: Heavy But Light

BEST USES: Mountain Biking, Great Tire For Multiple S, Snow Conditions

Best rear FB tire I've tried.... that fits.
I chose this as an alternative to the Surly Lou which doesn't quite fit my chain line. GREAT choice paired with a Surly Bud front. Sounds like a buzz saw on pavement, a good indicator that it's going to shred the snow. Extremely predicable in corners. Not a bad value either. May eventually pair it up with the Minion FBF when it's time to replace.

Not the best, but the best for the price
As stated in my review for the FBF: running on 90mm rims with tubes. no issues in any terrain yet but they get a bit bouncy at >13PSI and rib-busting rolling resistance around <6.5 PSI. at about 235 lbs including gear & bike, I find that about 7.5-9 PSI is the sweet spot for these tires, around 9 in front (with bluto) and 7.5 in rear. Cheers.

What's Clincher mean?
A shopper on Feb 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Clincher is the term for the types of tires we use tubes in or convert to tubeless. They have the hollow belly. They are distinct from the other variety, the tubular (not to be confused with tubeless) tires which are meant to be glued directly to tubular rims, usually a one-off race tire, and they are full 360 enclosed tires, no tubes, no tubeless. These Minions are clinchers.
What's the difference in the maxxis minion FBF and FBR I know it's front and rear but differents between the two?
