I like to use such full-finger gloves for riding in all but the warmest weather, and don't necessarily need much padding in the palms. I can't yet comment on the durability of these, but they look alright from the start and I expect they'll last a year or two, which is the best one could expect at this price point, I suppose. The only issue is that I'm going to have to return them for the XL. I used the size chart and measured my palm, but the L is very tight and difficult to pull on. XL should fit just right.

I got these for biking to match some skin wall tires I got on my fatbike but I'm thinking they will make even better driving gloves for the convertible on those chilly mornings. either way they seem like a decent glove for the prive. they are a bit tight in the fingers so order up a size. if you have sausages for fingers, buy something else.

I would buy another Pair again. I bought the tan and black, they look as good as they feel. Very minimal light glove, I use these for all mtn riding. Good in hot weather too, riding in 100 degree weather .

Comments about Giro DND Gloves 2012:

Very comfortable. Fit is very close (closest I've ever gotten with bike gloves) but the thumbs are a smidge too short. Weird, because the fingers and the hand itself are perfect. Maybe my hands are just odd.
Not far enough off to disrupt comfort or grip, and I don't think it will negatively affect durability either.

I measured my hand and found I was on the low side of large. I read reviews people wrote about the sizing and decided to order XL, they still fit really tight.

Not too bad for the daily ride, they seem durable, if I can get a year out of them it would be great. I'm not so happy about the short wrist, seems to be a thing with gloves these days. Also, don't expect the tan to stay tan for more than 3 rides. For 14 bucks you can't shake a stick at them. I would recommend them.
