Comfortable gloves
We use these gloves for XC use. Like the other reviewer noted if you're going to slap off trees I'd get more of a motocross glove that offers better protection. The gel makes the gloves comfortable on the hands. They have good grip and don't impair braking. Only complaint is the material tore easy on some heavy thorn bushes while riding at Bald Pate. But I'd buy another pair in a heartbeat. Very happy with the Pearl Izumi stuff.

Great glove
I use this as for XC. There isn't really any protection, so for tight fast trees and DH, I'd probably look for something beefier. They fit exactly according to the fit guide and so far I'm impressed.

PROS: Comfort, Dry Time, Fit, Breathability

BEST USES: XC, DJ

Great grip tight fit
I use the gloves regularly on both my road and mountain bikes. The tacky rubber on the index and middle fingers makes shifting easier than without gloves. The gloves run small but may stretch. I would recommend sizing up 1 size. They are very comfortable and breathe well.

PROS: Grippy, Comfortable

CONS: Small

BEST USES: Mountain Biking, Commuting/City, Road Biking
