I was worried about the durability of the holder and cog compared to a solid, threaded cog but this thing is tough. I put this holder and its matching cog through numerous aggressive rides on my fixed gear and it stays strong. The lock ring (make sure you check the TPI for your hub and get the correct size) and holder sandwich the cog so it's going nowhere. The best part is not having to carry a chain whip on long rides since I can remove the cog from the holder and place another easily (just be mindful of your chain length).
