Comments about Michelin City Reflective Strip Tire:
well I seem to be the problem child in the group. I thought hey good brand reflective strip on the side 28c wide max that fits my bike good price, and when I got them I was very happy. Now 3 months 421 miles later both tires separated from the bead and I had to walk home today when I had a blow out. Now im not happy, I had already ordered 2 spares as I have been nursing my front tire with its separated bead in 2 spots When I stopped and looked at the rear tire I could clearly see 4 threads broke off from the bead and my tube came through the tire and popped. I am going back to Continental and never buying Michelin again. Were they both defective? I do not know. Is it how and where I ride? I do not think so, I ride on asphalt around the base and im 215lbs with my pack on my brake pads are not rubbing the tire either I have verified that several times now while wondering what the heck is going on. Im trying to use my bike as a commuter and exercise and am having a fit with these tires so the spares are getting returned as soon as they get here

Comments about Michelin City Reflective Strip Tire:
Using for commuting, so far have not flatted. Not the fastest or most comfortable tire but a good choice for commuting. Cornering a bit weird, definitely not a race tire.

Comments about Michelin City Reflective Strip Tire:
I am super pleased with how these tires turned out. I ride to NYC all the time and if I am not on my road bike I take my hybrid and I am very happy with the confidence I have with these tires.
I check the tires when I get home every night and I am just amazed at how well these tires are working out. Very very pleased. I completely recommend these tires with no hesitation. Check plus plus!

Comments about Michelin City Reflective Strip Tire:
These tires are great for commuting. A little bit heavy but really I use them for commuting so it doesn't matter. Reflective strip is nice for riding home in the dark.
Comments about Michelin City Reflective Strip Tire:
I've put a good 30 miles testing the performance of these tires. They give great grip on road providing exceptional side bite, braking, and rolling distance. Because the tires molding is slightly off, any speeds above 35mph become slightly wobbly. Though the tire is basically a slick, grass would be assumed to be very slippery. This is not the case for the tire, the side knobs give a good amount of bite to hold a pretty aggressive line. The only problem the City has is hard packed rock. Although in the straight line is handles just fine, any moderate turn is very insecure and can easily loose total grip. This is a great for the average commuter that might have to take a short-cut every now and then.
