Swapped out some other tires for these. Used them in a few races on Mud, Gravel, sand, and grass. The traction is great. Cornering is great. Mounted them as tubeless on stans crest wheels and held air great.

I've raced a full season on these tires. For something that has the reputation of being the go-to mud clincher for cyclocross they don't hook up that well in the mud. Initially grip isn't too bad but they pack up easily and won't self-clean. In dry corners and conditions these tires do not inspire confidence. The shoulder blocks aren't aggressive enough and a slide out is likely if you really push it.

What is there left to say about this tire? It's superb.

Awesome traction in almost every conceivable condition. They excel in the mud (see pic). Quite light too.

I've run these with and without tubes (using a Stan's tubeless kit). They work well at all different pressures. I found 34 good for everything New England can throw at you (I weigh 165).

If you're going to get a cyclocross clincher, get the Michelin Mud 2.

These are great cyclocross ties. I'm one of those riders who uses one pair of tires all cross season long. I needed something that can handle all conditions well and the Mud 2's satisfy all riding conditions. I've already noticed how well they handle in the tight corners. Overall excellent tires.
