For my money, this is THE cheap tire that sets the bar. Excellent tread life and reasonable weight combine with a somewhat less substantial sidewall for an excellent ride. I've got something like a thousand miles on my current set, riding on every sort of road surface to be found (I drive over-the-road tractor-trailer) in these United States, and they have PLENTY of life left in them. I use the 28mm size as, for my two hundred mumble pounds it gives me the nicest balance between road feel, low resistance, and shock absorption. I recommend these all the time. N.B.: I purchased these at cost plus five percent when I was a bike mechanic: I wish I'd bought more at that price, though at twenty bucks or lower apiece, I still count this as a screamin' deal. Keep them inflated to 75 PSI or more, inspect them once a week or so, and be careful with the installation and you should be good to go for many, many miles.

I only used these for about 400 miles before something in the tire ruptured. looks like some threads inside the rubber broke or sidewall on both the left and righty side gave out. now the tire has a zig-zag that is only getting worse with every mile i continue to ride on it. I tried to remove the tire and reposition the sidewall to see if it would go away, and it did not.

Comments about Michelin Dynamic Sport Road Tires:

These came with the the road bike. Initially i was skeptical about their longevity. I think they served me well. Had no issues for 2000kms. The first one i got was a side puncture. Changed the tube and have been riding them every since. When i ride i instinctively try to ride on a clean road avoiding anything that may puncture my tyre. If you are a rough rider then these might not be for you. Saying this when its time to replace them i'll not be going back to these, maybe re-fuse or gatorskins.

    Hope this helps.

Comments about Michelin Dynamic Sport Road Tires:

I have used these tires for quite some time and have realized they are basically the best bang for the buck tires around.

You get a slick tire with very little roll resistance for a GREAT price compared to similar tires and they actually hold up well. Some of the reviews claim the tires don't last very long, but I haven't had any wear issues or problems with all the miles I have put on my first set of these. Even if they don't last as long as a higher priced tire, you could easily buy 4 of these tires for the price of one other similar tire. This makes it nice and affordable to carry spares with you on the road.

The only time I have had a slight issue with these tires is on extremely smooth concrete surfaces (very rare). The tire is a slick, so quick turns without having some heat in the tire makes it create quite a slip angle. No need to worry about this.

Subject to pressure blowouts even when inflated to less than spec, easily damaged, treacherous on wet pavement. Don't waste your time or money. Bought these and installed on two Trek road bikes ridden by two different people and in each case they lasted less than 1000 kilometers.

Less than 50 miles and both tires were gashed open. I wasnt doing anything crazy, just the usual bike lane debris. Would not consider these a strong road tire as the description suggests. If you want an inexpensive tire just go buy some Forte's from your local performance bike.
