Comments about Michelin Wild Grip'r Descent 26" Tire:
The trails in my area are cross country and range from pine straw/loose leaves to hardpack to sand to gnarly rocks/roots and various combinations thereof. Tried these at 35 psi and the rolling resistance was unbearable for cross country. Pumped them up to 50 psi and they bit into everything without hesitation. Climbing ability is incredible because the knobs are stiff and do not buckle when the going gets rough. A little difficult to install because the sidewalls are stiff, but this keeps them from flexing at higher pressure, resulting in more predictable handling. Will definitely be keeping these for cross country.
