When participating in inherently dangerous activities, it’s important to wear the appropriate protective gear. A neck brace is one of those pieces of protective gear you never want to have to use, but you’ll be thankful for it when you need it. Atlas has been making high-quality, lightweight neck braces that are used by professional racers and enthusiasts, implementing their own design that avoids sensitive pressure points such as your spine for all day protection that doesn’t sacrifice comfort.
The Atlas Tyke is a full-featured neck brace made to protect small children when participating in dirt or motor sports. The Tyke is based off of the original Atlas Brace, bringing competition-level neck protection to your young one. To ensure the Tyke fits your child for years to come, the adjustable fit system creates a custom fit with the room to grow as your child gets older. This means the Atlas Tyke will keep your child safer for a longer period of time. Adjustable chest straps will keep the brace in place and at a mere 490g (1.1 lbs), the Tyke will allow your children to enjoy themselves freely without being weighed down.
The Tyke features Atlas’ Emergency Release System (ESR). The ERS allows the brace to be removed with the simple push of a button in the unfortunate event that your little one takes a big spill. In these moments, it’s important to remember to keep the neck stable to prevent any further injuries, and the Emergency Release System will help with this.
The Atlas Tyke neck brace features a flexible ‘leaf spring’ suspension system that’ll soften the blow, preventing a harsh and abrupt stop on impact. Atlas neck braces evenly distribute the impact through use of dual back and chest supports. The dual back and chest supports help avoid sensitive pressure points such as the spine and sternum by maximizing the surface contact areas which will evenly distribute the impact and prevent further injuries.

Comments about Atlas Brace Atlas Tyke Brace:
Was looking at several neck braces for my son. Used a Leatt for 6 months but never fit right and looked right. Finally toss up between this Atlas and an Omega. But Atlas won as I had a chance to see/feel/try them on at my shop. To top it off Jensons matched a lower price and free shipping. It arrived in the mail exactly when they said it would.
I may buy one myself when it's time to. Fit is important and test rotation limit so bring your helmet and roost guard to make sure everything works together. Like everything....do you own reasearch. I am very impressed with the Atlas. Lifetime warranty as well.
