Takes a few minutes the first time to figure out which vents in your helmet will work best to route the straps, cable, etc. After that's settled it takes less than a minute each time to completely setup. The mount makes the headlamp really easy to adjust with one hand so mid-pedal changes are a snap. I run the extension cord to my backpack and it has length to spare. Just remember that you'll need the smallest o-ring that came with the Minewt to use this mount, the 2 bigger ones won't fit.
