I noticed a lot of rattling with my double-headlamp Classic Plus, and from time to time a pothole or other bump would cause the headlamp to fly out of the mount. Finally, the clip on the mount gave way altogether! This may be okay for a single headlamp, but is definitely not robust enough for a double.

Good stuff. On the MOAB though, if they had a better fastener (fastens battery to top bar of bike frame) for the battery it would help out alot; I made my own.

This was the answer I was looking for to mount my light on my new 31.8mm handlebar. Secure mounting and awesome adjustability. I have no problems at all recommending this mount.

Upon initial installation I noticed a lot of play between the head lamp and the mounting plate. The light will not come loose. However there is no plastic lip on the bottom of the mounting plate that firmly secures the lighting head on the mount. It just clicks in and is very loose. I thought they may have done this by design, but on my ride it was painfully annoying. the light rattled around and was incredibley distracting. Does anyone at niterider ride off road?
