Please note: grips only (Lock Jaw clamps sold seperately).

Lock-On grips are becoming increasingly evident on mountain bike courses and trails around the world, as more and more riders come to realize the benefits of ODI's revolutionary system. Along with complete non-slip performance, cyclists appreciate that, for the first time, they can easily change styles to meet varying terrain, race or weather conditions. They also enjoy the economics of not having to cut off and destroy a perfectly good pair of grips anytime they want to change shifters or brakes.

I have big hands that sweat a lot. I ride with gloves but on humid days the gloves get saturated and, thus, slippery (bare hands are much worse IMO). Comparing to Oury's and ESI Chunky, I like these the most. The diameter is about the same on all 3 and feels about right. I like the Rogues more than the Oury's because the "tread" is more aggressive in general, they also have a small knurled tread on the medium blocks whereas the oury's have large smooth blocks with no knurled texture. I find when the knurls on these wear down and the grips get smooth, they are not as grippy, and I am about to replace them with new ones for that reason. So yeah, the knurls help, would not get Oury's knowing this since they don't have em. The ESI's while not bad gripwise (about the same as rubber wet or dry, IIRC), actually are the first grips to ever put parts of my hands to sleep - only on occasion but still. You would think the "foam" would have more squish but I found it a bit firmer than Oury/Rogue. I may try ESI's again sometime with more swept bars, on my commuter probably. YMMV.

First off, I love the ODI system. Anyone who sweats as much as I do would. This is a big grip, too big for me, personally. I'm much more comfortable on the Yeti ODI's. Also, I can't imagine using ODI clamps without taking a file to that outside edge. I'm anxious to try the Ruffian.

Comments about ODI Rogue Lock On Replacement Grips:

Switched to a thicker grip to save my hands after developing terrible blisters from riding. These make my ride much more comfortable. They provide good bike feel, excellent grip, look good, and are durable. If your hands consistently hurt after your ride do yourself a favor and try these grips.

These are great because I have large hands and they absorbs a lot of the vibrations from the trail. They do tend to get kind of sticky after long term use but it's not a deal breaker.

Got those with a pair of orange clamps since I needed new grips and wanted to put some color on my bike. I wear medium gloves and was a bit skeptical if those are not going to be too fat and uncomfortable but after about a 100miles on the bike I have nothing bad to say about them. The rubber is sticky, the size and shape is comfortable and they look good.
