I needed new shoes, and I was already ordering parts, so I thought I would give these a try (at [$] how could I not??).They look very classic (I got the grey/black), and have a very traditional skate/bmx construction.Right away I was impressed with the grip provided when mated to my cheapo flats, but the zig-zag rubber soles lost that grippiness within a few hundred miles.My biggest complaint is very personal, but could apply to anyone else with my condition: flat feet.Its almost impossible to find good shoes (I found vibrams to be the best) that fit right and don't exacerbate the problem, and these are no exception.I will definitely be buying more of these (or just Loteks in general), and I would suggest getting them for a cheap durable shoe.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
