Soon enough they became a staple in every aspiring motocross racer’s gear. Oakley’s first sport-oriented sunglasses were the Factory Pilot Eyeshades, which resembled goggles, were released in 1984. They were followed closely by the Oakley Frogskin sunglasses, which featured a more casual style that was made in Japan.
