after about 6 months these failed. Bearings must've come out of alignment or something. Tried to re-lube, but no improvement.
I ride XC about 3x week, 15 miles/ride.

This is an great pedal for the money. I had this pedal placed on my Trial Unicycle down at my local bick shop, and it handles great. The body of the pedal isn't over whelming, and it isn't oversized in anyway. All of the pins comming out of the thing only add to the "stickyness" to keep your foot on the pedal. During Unicycling, your body is twisted in almost every direction, and your feet are pushing back and forth and sidways all of the time. The Trail mix's hold their ground. and they look good as well, expecialy if you can get them in tasty colors. I have white.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
