Prices shown in currencies other than USA Dollars are estimates based on current exchange rates. We will charge your credit card in USA Dollars on the day your order is shipped, and the conversion to your local currency will be done at the prevailing rate by your credit card issuer.
Shipments outside the USA are declared as “bike parts” for customs purposes and will include the actual amount paid for merchandise and shipping. Jenson USA will not mark your parcel as a “gift”, declare a value lower than the actual price paid, or otherwise prepare false customs information.
Plan out the route. Make it long, include some dirt, some gravel, and the old beat up highway. Make it memorable and challenging. Bring good friends, coffee money, and your Orbea Avant. The Avant is an extraordinary bike, versitlena and capable of a wide range use. Ride it just as it comes or customize it to your specific needs and riding style. The frame and fork are both disc and rim brake capable, and offers standard or electronic internal cable routing.
Orbea has also gone through great lengths and paid close attention to the Avant Carbon OME Monocoque frame and its aerodynamics. The idea was to offer great fit, comfort and do so without sacrificing performance. Orbea achieves this by basing geometry and sizing on the stack and reach of a frame, two of the most important measurements to consider for bike fit. These will determine the relationship of two vital touch points - pedals and handlebars. Internal DCR cable routing, which is standard or electronic capable, seals shift and brake cables from the elements and hides them from the catching wind and creating drag.
Knowing that those who ultimately choose the Avant Hydro are undoubtedly passionate cyclists who seek a more efficient position on the bike for a better riding experience, Orbea has factored in an ergonomic design for conserving energy and increasing comfort during the long haul. This by no means equates to a bike that lacks force, but one that will reduce stress on the body so that every ounce of power is devoted to the pedal stroke. Featuring a longer head tube, the Avant offers a higher hand position that also brings the handlebars in closer towards the saddle, offering a more upright body position for long lasting comfort and endurance.
The Avant M40 supplies no shortage of choices for compliance. With a drivetrain dominated by the Shimano Tiagra 10 speed group, the Avant M40 captures a reliable combination of quick and easy shifting, and healthy amount of gears to see you through weekend group rides. The Avant frame features an internal routing system that’s compatible with both traditional cables or the more modern, electronic wiring systems.
Orbea’s new sizing system is implemented into the Avant, putting a heavy emphasis on stack and reach, versus the much more common effective top tube measurement. Stack and reach are more truthful measurements as they define the spatial relationships of two important contact points between your body and the bike; the pedals and handlebars. Stack is the vertical distance from the center of the bottom bracket to the top of the headtube. Reach is the horizontal distance from the center of the bottom bracket to that same point at the top center of the headtube. Orbea’s logical sizing allows the Avant to accommodate a wider range of riders and aligns with a more linear size progression.
