I'm unbelievably happy with this
These stands are a perfect solution to a simple problem.

They are heavy and stable. There is nothing to break. They look to be indestructable. Its easy to put a bike in the stand or take it out. I'm not worried that the stand will damage my bike. If you have more than 1, the stands stack together when not in use. My bikes look great in these stands.

a nice alternative to the Stinger stand
Had never seen this before I stumbled upon it here. This is a nice alternative to the Stinger for less than 1/3rd the cost. I do use mine for holding the bike while doing some maintenance and it is not really "bomber" stable enough for that, but it can work okay if you are cognizant of its limitations. But that is not its intended purpose. Classy, heavy duty, and simple. Note that it is not really manufactured by Shimano. Also note that, as far as I can tell, the 29" version will work just fine with a 26" bike.

Great bike stand
This bike stand works as it should. Stand is made for 29" mountain bike but it holds my road bike and 26" mountain bike really well. Product is made very well and looks like it will last forever.

Great stand
Great stand, keeps the bike away from the car while setting up in the morning at the bike shop for the morning club right. I didn't want the break levers rubbing on my nice car every time I would sit in the rear bumper. These are heavy metal. Really support the bike

Shimano Pro Bike Stand
Jenson has the fastest shipping ever. Bummed about the oversize package charge. $10 extra. Bike stand is pro. Helps me keep my bike up while I clean/lube the chain. Also don't have to lean the bike against the wall anymore. That was the main reason for purchase. Looks lowkey to.

will this work on my 27.5 mountain bike
kennethmd on May 30, 2016
How does it attach to the bike? Perhaps trapped by the rear QR?
Fred on Jan 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This stand slides around the rear axle between the hub and the "inside" of the non drive side chain stay, you just drop your bike in. Though the description says it works with 29" wheels, non of my mtb bikes work with this, as the disc breaks get in the way. But for non disc bikes this guy works great for standing the bike in an open space where other racks are not available. I use it in my garage for temporary stand for road and cross bikes while getting ready and its good for races/events rather than leaning your bike against the car etc.
What size is good for road bikes, 26" or 29"?
Omar P on Mar 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: my 26" works fine with my road bike. Most road bikes are 700 mm and fit fine. That said, if you have a road bike with rear disk brake there may not be sufficient clearance between the frame and the brake rotor. You would have to try it. It works fine with several of my mountain bikes that have disk brakes, but the hub spacing is different. hope that helps.
Does this work with a 27.5?
A shopper on Apr 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it fits nicely with my 700c roadbile & 27.5 hardtail MTB, no issue at all
My wheels are Vera Corsa DPM27 clinchers, 24x28H will it fit?
HARRY B on Dec 24, 2016
BEST ANSWER: sorry i can't say with 100% certainty but it should unless your rear wheel hub flange to chain stay non-drive side is less than approx 7 mm. doesn't work with my power tap hub or a few disk brake bikes ( boosted ibis, Giant Liv Avail). works with several mtb disk wheels just fine. hope that helps
