The Cinder is the heir apparent to the classic Fire XC tire. It incorporates Panaracers newest "ZSG Ultima" compound, a blend of Silica and Carbon that delivers superior grip and dry and wet conditions. Multi-height knobs further help it stick to the trail, and all this with rolling resistance that improves upon the Fire tread too.

big upgrade over stock tire..for dirt use..not fast roller but great grip in various conditions and holds well in corners..perfect for most anything unpaved..look sharp too..

Used the Panaracer fire xc pros for several years, wanted something more aggressive- these were the answer! im still rollin the fire on the back, but having the cinder up front has been great for doing more aggressive trail. rolls surprisingly decent. works great in mud and rock...still havent got to use it in the hardpack-long winters...

I got a set of these in 03 and now they are my favorite all condition tire. they hook up well in bad conditions as well as they do on hardpack. they brake well, accelerate well,climb well. they have done everything Ive asked from good weather to snow, ice, mud, sand, rocks out the wazzoo, creek crossings, and Im still on the first set.
