Tightest fitting tires I have EVER put on. So tight, I kept looking at the size marked on the tire to make sure they were correct. I finally (by using two stiffer tire levers) managed to get them on. If I ever get a flat, I will be screwed because I can only change these at home.

Hi pressure narrow 26" rires are very few on the market, We got 2500 miles out of our first, but I add on the rear, the tread shape does'nt look like it would be a good front choice. This tire is hard to install when new, but after a few miles stretches into shape and can be removed without tools

Comments about Panaracer Ribmo Folding:
I commuted for years on the 700x28C model, taking them off each Sunday in the fall to swap for cyclocross tires. No issues at all. Great ride, good weight and decent wear for commuter tire. However this past fall I purchased the the 700x25C model, and they were pretty darn difficult to mount. After a month of swapping them out for Sunday cyclocross, they're certainly easier to mount, but nowhere near as easy as my older 700x28C tires. I definitely prefer to be on the narrower, 25C version as these roll surprisingly well.

Comments about Panaracer Ribmo Folding:
I use this strictly for commuting on a hybrid bike so my experience is based on riding only on smooth concrete with occasional potholes and gravel. Also, I'm downsizing from 700x42's to 700x32's so I don't have another 32 with which to make a comparison. First impression is that it is a fairly grippy tire. Seems to roll well also. I can get speeds that are close to what I get on a road bike with skinnier tires, yet the ride is not as jarring. I like that I can pump it up as high as 100 PSI for even lower rolling resistance.
It took me a good 15 minutes to figure out how to put this tire on the first time though. It's a really tight fit so you'll need to get as much slack as you can get. The key is that the inner tube must be fully deflated after you get 3/4 of the tire on. After that it's a breeze and you will not need to resort to tools other than your fingers.

I love these tires.
They are super-durable both for general wear and tear and punctures, but they still have pretty darn good grip and handling. These are great tires for a medium-fast commuter in a tough environment.

Comments about Panaracer Ribmo Folding:
I like these tires because they're inexpensive, durable, fairly light, and have good flat protection. These are all things you want from a commuting tire.
Here's the funky part. They have this raised ridge to them which is unusual. I have the 2.0 and 1.5 (26 inch versions) and they're both just pointy. I've decided to put the RibMos on the back because back tires tend to "square off" when they wear and get something else on the front (Panaracer T-Servs).
Second funky part is the tire squeals when I corner. I don't feel like I'm losing grip but the squealing-- classic car tire movie chase scene squealing-- is kind of unnerving. It makes me want to back off the turn. Never heard this in other tires. I wonder if it's related to the ridge. I don't hear it in the rear...

Tires for the NYC streets. It looks thinner than 1.25", looks more like 1". The ride is rough, feels like your riding on steel tires.

I am deployed to southwest asia and I have a loaner trek 4300 mountain bike. I commute to work about 3 miles one way and ride through nasty sharp desert gravel and hard packed sand, as well as riding on black asphalt that is in the 120 degree sun all day. The tires have about 100 miles and show no real wear. They squeal a bit as I ride around corners, but seem to grip just fine. Probably the hot surface that makes them noisy in the turns. They roll well and seem to work fine on the 26" bike. I think the sidewall screen printing is silly and should be left off. Just having the brand name on there would have been a smarter move, but that does not alter the performance. i use standard tubes and run about 70psi with no cuts or flats so far even running over numerous stones both on the edge of the asphalt and on the dirt part of my trip. I am definitely packing these tires with me when I leave here so I can use them on my bike at home.

Excellent overall tire. They are fast rolling and quick to grip in dry conditions. However, watch out for the rain. I would buy these again. I'm curious to see how the tread life is.
