Comments about Panaracer Supertube - Double Thick:
I bought this to replace my frequently punctured standard tube and I never regret it even though it is a little pricey for a tube. No regrets as I have never have a flat since. Little heavy but you will have a peace of mind of finishing the trail. I now run both tires w/ these.

Comments about Panaracer Supertube - Double Thick:
This is a great tube. A little thick and heavier that the average tube but that gives you extra protection against possible flats.

These mothas are stout. I have never seen tubes so thick. They will get the job done for any type of terrain. Super Tubes!

Comments about Panaracer Supertube - Double Thick:
Perfect for DH. Heavy duty enough for the thoughest terrain. I've used this tube for about 30 DH runs at Angel Fire Bike Park and it is growing strong.
I bought a two extra tubes to carry around on my backpack... just in case!

Comments about Panaracer Supertube - Double Thick:
the extra weight is well worth the fact that you don't have to worry about getting a flat while riding. and if you do happen to get a flat you can patch the tube cause there is no slime inside.

Comments about Panaracer Supertube - Double Thick:
These are great tubes - I was averaging around two flats a month with cheapo LBS tubes. I have had these in for a few weeks now and am very happy with the peace of mind they give me. Panaracer makes great stuff!
Comments about Panaracer Supertube - Double Thick:
These are some seriously underappreciated tubes. I used to think tubes are tubes and as long as they hold air, they're doing their job, and would buy the sub-$5 ones to save a few bucks. After trying these, my tune has changed. Quality often is inconsistent and some tubes do well lasting a number of rides, while some fail at the valve, some have slow leaks throughout and bubble up when testing in the water all over (like seeing bubbles sticking on the inside of a champagne glass), and pinch flat relatively easily.I often held back or ran higher pressure to prevent flats. Now I no longer feel held back. I run a lower tire pressure that offers a much better ride and no longer fear pinch flats. Biking feels so much more fun when you're able to ride how you want to ride. My friends even noticed and wondered what I did that changed how I ride and were surprised when I said it was a simple tube change and they all agreed. The tubeless riders were saying it was kind of the same thing for them and I sold the ones not riding tubeless into switching over.I've also run Thorn resistant tubes and Kenda 2.3-2.7 DH tubes. The Kenda DH tube weighs more than the tire itself (1.5 lbs vs 1.3 lbs) and keeps a tire like shape better than my tire (which folds and twists on itself). Both flat from thorns, but haven't pinced either. They're a lot heavier than these Supertubes. So these seem to be the perfect sweet spot. If you have thorns, run tire liners, and also run these tubes, and I wouldn't be surprised if you go weeks or months without having to really inflate your wheels. Props to Panaracer for showing me the light as to what a real quality tube is. This definitely earns its name as being a Super Tube.
Comments about Panaracer Supertube - Double Thick:
I cannot say enough great things about these exceptional tubes, and I hope they never stop making them. Exceptionally strong tubes, and light weight compared to all the other DH, FR, street, thorn resistant tubes on the market. I have thrown my big FR bikes off 15' to 24' ledge drops, flew over some real gnarly rocky terrain, hucked many urban drops to flat (up to 8'), and never had any issues with these tubes blowing or going flat. I highly recommend these tubes for your MTB.
Comments about Panaracer Supertube - Double Thick:
I'm running the 1.6 - 2.1 version( 250g each). I won't go back to the 99g light tubes I had. I save so much time because i dont have to mess with the thin tube problems anymore.
