Good tool, works with most 16 spline external cups, not just Shimano. Of course, it is designed to work with Shimano's offerings, and as such, includes the preload adjusting cap on the other end of the tool.
What can I say, it works. My only gripe is that the tool is rather flat and with some stuck cups, a rubber mallet becomes mandatory, for a lack of places to grip the tool. A more long term solution is the two separate tools, the cup remover/installer, and the cap adjuster.
If you are short on money, this is a good blend of both tools, and will carry you as far as necessary.

Great tool, like most Park stuff. it makes installing and servicing external Shimano bottom brackets a breeze. It seems well built and durable (2+ years of use w/ no problems here). Nice ergonomics. Great little tool.

I own a socket style BB tool and this. I never use the socket! i love this BB wrench and obviously it will never fail. Strong work park tool.
