I have been using this brush for years on my bikes and it is a must have for anyone who works on a bike. The stiff bristles really get the grime off your cassette and chainrings. It's shape allows you to get into tight spaces. For the price, you can't beat it.

This bristles on this brush are stiff enough to scrub out any tough grit, but soft enough not to scratch paint jobs. The bristles are too short to get all the way down between most mountain cassettes but the toothed arm on the back of the brush does a great job of picking up the slack. The price is right.
