It's good grease. I don't know of any other cheaper alternative. Some say this is just plain marine grease but I do notice a performance difference (this grease will last longer and holds bearings in hubs a whole lot better). I use it for pretty much everything on the bike but the chain.
This grease doesn't self-clean and is not a solvent. So you must remove any previous grease or dirt before using this grease. It will protect exposed metal, but it won't treat it.

People spend tens of dollars on a few ounces of grease. This is a WHOLE POUND of grease for a fraction of the dough, making it the most economical grease available. It's cheap, there's a ton of it and it works well. Use a small paintbrush to apply it to anything. It won't let you down.

worth the money. I think I paid 3.50 for a tube 6 years back. Glad i bought it too...Ive even lent it to my father because he didn't have any grease to repack his hubs...
