This is a great, affordable chain whip. I only use mine a couple of times per year, but it definitely beats having to go to the LBS to take off a cassette. Great addition to the tool box.

this tool works beautifully. Easy to hold and provides excellent leverage when loosing the lock ring of your cassette. the handle is very comfortable as well. It will last for years, I am sure.

Great tool, I like to use it to turn the cassette tool and remove the lock ring. I like to combo this tool with the chain whip/pedal wrench to remove cassettes.

I race singlespeed MTB, so I change gears quite frequently. I use this tool and it works just as it should. It has a 'wrench' on the opposite end, which is only useful during re-installation.
To take the cog/cassette off, you thill need another tool.
