This is a great scale, but beware. You will spend nights obesing over weight. It is to much fun to weigh all your bikes and their componets. Its really a great tool for anyone serious about biking and building bikes.

I have wanted a bike scale for years. I finally decided to get one and I love having it. Besides knowing how much your bike weighs anytime, it comes in handy whenever you make changes to your bike. Anything from new components to new tires can affect your bike's weight. Now I don't have to go to the local shop to find out.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

My only complaint is in the product description, it does not say it will go up to 55 pounds. The box of the box does say this much. I do run some very heavy bicycles close too the 50 pound mark. Did some shopping around to get this info. Plus it was fun to see my 62cm road bike weighs in at 19.1 pounds.
