For the price, I do...
For the price, I do not believe the home mechanic can beat the quality or design. It's nice to know too that Park Tool stands behind their products as they have a limited lifetime warranty on EVERYTHING they make. Can't say that for most of the other workstand manufacturers.

Sturdy, strong and...
Sturdy, strong and easy to use for us weekend warriors. It took about twenty minutes including a beer break to put together. I like the paint job and how sturdy the stand is with the bike on the stand. Easy to adjust height and move bike around. Clamping system with the push over clamp is easier than the screw type clamps on others.

Ultra Durable
This is an indispensable utlity to have. It makes working on bikes much easier. Its durability and strength are well worth its cost; even holding my very heavy MTB fitted with an electric motor wheel, rear rack and with me wrenching away on the rear wheel, the stand remained very stable. Since it can fold up, it makes storing much easier. Park Tool really hit the mark with this product.

PROS: Adjustable, Easy storage, High Quality Construction, Practical

BEST USES: Wrenching, Repairs, Tune-Ups, Maintenance

One of two stands I use regularly
This is a good stand if you do not have a ton of room for a dedicated stand with floor plate. It folds up fairly compact, is made of robust materials, and has a good clamping mechanism (which is fully rebuild-able).

My only gripes with the stand is that the upper part of the mast (and the stand in general) has a tendency to swing left and right when you put down large amounts of torque on the bike. This is, unfortunately, a problem with the type of stand (folding). The other problem? With a lot of use, the c-clip that keeps the jaws spread on the crank mechanism will loosen and your jaws will want to close together. It is not the end of the world, but is irritating.

Bottom line? If you can spring the extra money, and have the room for, a floor/post mounted workstand, go for it, as they are usually easier to work with. If, however, space is at a premium, this is an excellent alternative.

This is very adjustable and easy to move the bike around. A friend has the PC 9 and its not as stable and adjusting height requires utilizing tools to loosen and tighten center brace. The 10 is a simple fast lock system. It's well worth the extra 40 bucks!Highly recommended for any tooling on the bike.

Great Stand for a Great Price
Great price and very solid stand. Holds the bike at a variety of heights and angles. Folds down easy for storage. Not super lightweight but great for what I wanted. Assembly instructions could have been a tad clearer but otherwise a solid bet all around.

PROS: Versatile, Solid, Foldable, Rugged

CONS: Assembly Inst Not Clear

I had been using a homemade stand that required me to remove the front wheels of bikes to mount them. I also had to fasten that stand to a sawhorse. This stand will be saving me a lot of time in the future.
